I have experience helping people ages 12-65 improve communication in their relationships, heal from past trauma, and learn how to better cope with negative emotions and stress so they can regain control of their lives. I provide my clients with concrete, valuable tools, as well as a greater understanding into their behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that contribute to self-defeating patterns and conflicted relationships. My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual based on their unique needs. I draw heavily on concepts from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic techniques. By providing a safe and open environment we’ll explore new ways of living that are free from anxiety, self-doubt and self-criticism. In addition to my work with individuals, I specialize in helping families navigate communication breakdowns and the transitional years of adolescence.
