Introduction
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019, but my background and the focus of my career has been providing mental health support and counseling in the public school sector as a School Counselor and School Social Worker. I began my private practice (Stepping Stones) in 2023 in order to be an additional resource to the community to support the rising need for youth mental health care. My experience has ranged from working as the clinician in a specially designed classroom for high school students with Emotional Disturbance (4 years) to school counseling at both the middle school (1 year) and elementary school (3 years) levels. Prior to my public school experience I worked with youth in a residential group home and non-public school as the behavioral health counselor for four years. My heart and passion lies with supporting, helping, and counseling youth with trauma. I am passionate about working with kids and helping them to become the best versions of themselves that they can be. I strongly believe that ALL kids are capable of greatness in their own unique ways. It is up to us as the adults in their world to foster an environment in which they feel safe emotionally and physically, supporting their ability to thrive as they learn the skills to enhance their greatness.
