Connie Anderson, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been providing mental health services for over 9 years with children and families. She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from William Carey University in 2012. She has worked with children referred for services prior to her working at Kids Hub and has training in trauma treatment modalities, such as TF-CBT: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy; and EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Both modalities are proven methods of treatment that help those who have experienced trauma.
