She also has extensive experience helping clients struggling with depression, anxiety/worry, and general life difficulties. In her therapeutic work, Dr. Jackson incorporates expertise in the complex relationships between the brain/cognitive abilities and behavior to help clients develop insight and skills to function their best. Dr. Jackson works with clients to collaboratively identify treatment goals. She uses cognitive and behavioral therapeutic techniques that are supported by extensive research. However, therapy is always tailored to the individual needs, strengths, and values of the client. Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes and typically occur weekly or every other week. Treatment duration varies according to the client’s unique circumstances and goals. Neuropsychological Assessment Dr. Jackson offers neuropsychological assessments for adults (18+) focused on optimizing how clients think and function in academic, occupational, and personal settings. Dr. Jackson has expertise in the assessment of ADHD, learning disorders, and cognitive changes that can occur later in life. In-person assessments are currently offered at Dr. Jackson's Brookline, MA office. A telephone consultation is required prior to the initial appointment. Dr. Jackson earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in Neuropsychology, from the University of Connecticut.
