Introduction

Hello and welcome, you have taken a very difficult first step in your personal journey! Do you feel lost? On a new pathway? Confused? Burnt out? Unfocused? Perhaps you are thinking about a change in career, relationship, or something else? Maybe you are uncertain what is feeling off in your life and want to explore ways to increase contentment. Therapy can help you navigate through this hard time and challenge you to gain greater insights for a more authentic life. I believe that therapy is a process of exploration in which I work to provide an environment that feels emotionally safe, comfortable, and supportive to foster honest vulnerability, growth, and healing through an unbiased perspective free from shame, which we don’t always get from our families/friends. My goal as a therapist is to make sure you are feeling heard, accepted, and supported on our therapeutic journey together. I follow a values-focused and mindfulness-based approach that allows the client to lead where they want to go in a supportive environment. I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives if there is an honest desire to do so. Whether you are struggling with unhealthy learned behaviors that you have picked up along the way or are trying to cope with new or difficult circumstances, I work to provide an inclusive and accepting experience. I specialize in working with people that are struggling with compassion fatigue and burnout from their care-giving (animal or human) and professional responsibilities - who may be questioning some of their cognitive dissonance, interested in how to live a life more in alignment with their values. The skills you may normally turn to may not be enough to help you move forward right now so I am here to join you with identifying your strengths and guide you through recognizing new ones. I look forward to learning about your wellness goals!
