I believe in the power of counseling and feel grateful to be able to be in my role as a clinician. We are all so deserving of the benefits of therapy. I believe therapy is a gift we can give ourselves; it is the highest form of self-care. I view therapy as a collaborative, teamwork-oriented process. I am honored and proud to weather the storms and celebrate the victories of each of my clients. I believe we are all worthy. My clients typically enjoy my light hearted nature, knowing that when the time comes, I challenge them in a gentle and supportive way. I provide an eclectic approach to therapy; incorporating mindfulness to help clients find strength to "get comfortable being uncomfortable" and using Solution Focused techniques to provide tools to use in real life. I earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona and obtained my Master's in Social Work from the clinically-renowned Loyola University Chicago. I have extensive training in mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
