Introduction

People are fabulously interesting and I believe your story matters. Together, using science-based theories & interventions, we can sort through feelings and behaviors that may seem destructive, confusing, or just too overwhelming to sort out alone. To be curious, with an openness to self-discovery, we can evolve & heal. I work with teens & individuals navigating depression &/or anxiety, or phase of life issues. I am passionate about working with couples to improve meaningful communication, or reconnecting when promises have been broken. I also work with incarcerated youth & adults, planting seeds of hope & transformation. My training & experience focus on the trifecta of thoughts, feelings, & behaviors; that our reactions in the present may be deeply rooted in the past & that healing begins when we acknowledge the tattered raw edges of grief, anger, or hopelessness. Together, as we bear witness to your lived experience, we begin the journey of discovering your authentic self. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor & Associate Marriage Family Therapist, I am skilled, relatable, & bring a delicate blend of compassion, honest reflection, and humor (when appropriate) to our therapeutic relationship. Prior to becoming a therapist I worked for 26 yrs as a Switchman, Conductor, Engineer, & Manager for a class I freight railroad.
