I specialize in working with guys high school age and older. Oftentimes the clients who come to see me are coming to therapy for the first time and don't exactly know what to expect. Or they have done therapy in the past but didn't find it to be that helpful because all their previous therapist did was let them talk for an hour each week. My approach is based in research on the male brain and I structure sessions to allow for both emotional processing and hands-on skill-building. This means getting things off your chest AND learning life-long skills. I have helped teens and adults do better in school, communicate more at home, and feel overall happier (oftentimes in 10 sessions or less). I actively update my profile.
