Experience Claire Slama, LCSW, earned both her bachelor’s and master's degrees in social work from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has worked for 18 years supporting children and families in many residential, school, and community based settings. Claire has extensive experience working with youth of all ages. She is passionate about supporting children and teens that display challenging behaviors resulting from mental health concerns or trauma. Claire also has experience providing training and support to parents wanting to make positive changes for their family. Counseling Philosophy Claire believes in taking an active approach to healing and growth. Taking action and developing effective coping skills can significantly influence our thoughts and feelings.
