Introduction

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in treating adults with anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. Other focus areas include life transitions, depression, stress, chronic illness and pain, self-esteem, grief and loss, LGBTQIA+ issues, and more. My therapeutic style is active, collaborative, and respectful. Together, we will personalize your therapy experience, drawing from various evidence-based, trauma-informed, and social justice-oriented approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based methods. Depending on your needs, we may incorporate mindfulness and somatic techniques into therapy sessions, enhancing your ability to bring flexible attention to your here-and-now experience. Throughout our work, we will nurture curiosity and self-compassion toward your thoughts and feelings, empowering you to lead a more values-based life. Our collaborative observations of your mind and behaviors will support greater self-understanding, more effective coping strategies, and an enhanced sense of overall wellbeing.
