Each client I work with proves to me again and again why I knew at 12 years old that this was my purpose - I never tire of learning more about my clients, of knowing who they are and helping them to find the growth and change they are seeking. Most of all, it is then bearing witness to their new awarenesses, as well as the challenges, of evolving into their true, congruent selves that I find most profound - that the experience of being human is at once so unique and so beautifully universal. My scope of practice includes addiction & codependency, depression, anxiety, chronic illness & disabilities, childhood abuse, grief & loss issues, couples counseling, career counseling, and more. The responses I often get at the end of treatment are often, "I learned a lot about myself and how to make changes for the better." and "My anxiety/depression are so much better", or "I see my relationships in a less codependent/attachment-wounded way, and more as an adult with healthy boundaries."
