Hi, I'm Claire! I'm so glad you're here. It is my privilege and joy to walk with people in all seasons - the good, the bad, the hard, the exciting, the exhausting. My role as a therapist is to come alongside and help support you through whatever it is that might need an outside perspective. A little background - I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Auburn University in 2009 and obtained my Master in Social Work (MSW) in 2015 from the University of Alabama. After obtaining my MSW, I worked for a Child Advocacy Center for 9 years as a child therapist and forensic interviewer, working primarily with child victims of sexual abuse. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and I use a variety of other approaches to therapy as well. My desire is always to best meet the client’s needs, using an approach that is best tailored to your particular goals.
