Introduction

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I have been serving the Buffalo area for nearly a decade. I earned a Master of Science in Counseling from Canisius College in 2013 have worked with many diverse populations in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have the privilege to partner with my clients as they progress toward their goals in both individual and group therapy. As a therapist, my goal is to help individuals work through personal traumas, stressors and maladaptive coping skills to help them function to their fullest potential and above all else, learn to be in a safe, fulfilling relationship with one’s self. I hold strongly to the notion that the best therapeutic results yield from incorporating loving kindness and guidance into the change process. Every individual deserves integrity, dignity and respect. By encouraging personal growth and development, individuals are capable of significant positive change. My own belief system is one of inclusivity, and I am an ally to people of color, the LGBTQ+ community and other often disenfranchised populations.
