I work with individuals, marriage and family relationships. The best part of my job is I get to meet so many amazing people and hear their stories and I get to walk with them through the hard parts of life while they work things out. I am continually encouraged by the capacity of the human spirit to endure and thrive in the face of adversity. I enjoy working with clients who are navigating the effects of developmental trauma (physical, sexual and emotional abuse) as well as those who are experiencing grief, anxiety, anger and relational issues. I view my role to be that of a listener, supporter, encourager, and advocate. With me, you can expect to be heard and validated – while also challenged as we work to bring healing and create new patterns and beliefs. Working with couples is one of the highlights of my job! I enjoy helping them communicate better, negotiate differences, and improve their love life. I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 34 years and am blessed with 3 adult children, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. I have been a community leader with National Charity League and local philanthropies and churches for 20 years. This passion for helping people learn, grow, and heal eventually led me to pursue counseling. I am constantly learning more about my craft and truly enjoy this work!
