I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #135281) that works with adults with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) as well as adult children of immigrants. While my primary focus is on ADHD and children of immigrants, I do work with many other issues in my practice. Such as: depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, burnout, and navigating life transitions are some that come to mind. Processing getting diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and/or navigating ADHD as an adult as well as helping clients find their balance between two different cultural worlds is of particular interest to me in the work that I do. My experience, while not an exhaustive list, includes the following: women, the LGBTQ community, immigrants, children of immigrants, adult children of addicts, transition age youth (ages 14-24), domestic violence survivors, survivors of emotional and financial abuse, adults navigating co-parenting or parallel parenting with a non-cooperative co-parent, tech workers navigating high stress work environments, individuals experience major transitions, and adults who are newly (or not so newly) diagnosed with ADHD or navigating parenting a child with ADHD. I was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago to Greek immigrant parents. I myself am a dual citizen of the US and Greece, and I speak Greek conversationally. I attended Loyola University Chicago for my undergraduate work, where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I attended Santa Clara University for my graduate work, where I received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree.
