Introduction

Christine Milovani, LCSW founded Healing & Balance LLC in 2000 with the goal of integrating healing principles from both Eastern and Western modalities. She offers sessions that are unique for each person by utilizing her skills in social work, psychotherapy, somatic therapies and healing arts. Christine intentionally creates a grounded space for healing by offering an open heart, compassion, deep listening, authenticity and clarity. Christine has 25 years of experience working in various settings: hospitals, inpatient psychiatry, emergency services, outpatient clinics and wellness centers. She has the following credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (WI), EMDR trained therapist Levels I/II, Certified Provisional Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, Certified Integral Qigong & Tai Chi Instructor (250+ hrs), Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Certified Reiki Practitioner & Teacher. She has additional training in the areas of: Motivational Interviewing, Health Coaching, Mindfulness, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Complementary/Integrative Health. Integrative Somatic sessions may include a combination of the following based on your interest and needs: Somatic Experiencing®, embodied somatic healing, meditation, mindfulness, mindful self-compassion, breath awareness, tai chi, and qigong. Psychotherapy sessions may also include EMDR. Christine enjoys living a healthy lifestyle in the country. She enjoys cooking with locally grown food and herbs from her organic garden. She engages in movement through hiking, biking, dancing, swimming and paddle boarding. She is surrounded by wise friends, mentors and teachers who continue to help her grow.
