Introduction

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor who works with children, adolescents, parents and those on their journey to become parents who are looking for support to overcome the challenges of anxiety, depression, adoption, foster care, trauma, school related, infertility, postpartum and adjusting to the ever evolving role of parenting. My approach to therapy is a combination of cognitive behavioral, person-centered and trauma focused therapy delivered in a warm and compassionate way. I also utilize play, art and mindfulness based aspects in my work. I have spent the last 10 years working with children and families in both school settings and community-based services and strive to create a genuine therapeutic relationship through a collaborative goal-oriented approach.
