Introduction

Hi there! My name is Christina Nava and in January 2020 I started Empowered Choice Psychotherapy (ECP). My choice to create Empowered Choice Psychotherapy (ECP) derived from the passion and desire I have to work with individuals who are seeking personal growth, strength, self-assurance, grounding, healing and most importantly, peace of mind. My therapeutic style is to assist the person in examining their story and present symptoms. I utilize an eclectic treatment approach. Through client empowerment, my aim is to guide my clientele to let go of what is no longer serving them and develop ways of meeting their own unique emotional needs. Through this process, I aim to provide guidance in creating insight and awareness, as well as utilization of new and adaptive coping patterns. I have worked in various settings with children, youth/adolescents, adults and families, providing both individual and family therapy services. I also have experience working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse issues.
