Introduction

Do you find yourself having a hard time communicating your needs or setting healthy boundaries? Are you leaving conversations feeling unheard or misunderstood? Maybe you find yourself being the one struggling to hear and understand. I am a certified trauma specialist and have a level 2 training in Gottman methods for couples. I utilize these trainings when working with clients on strengthening communication skills and creating healthy dynamics that allow room for growth and safety within relationships with themselves and others. I have seen the complexity within emotions associated with domestic abuse and understand these events look different for every person. Trauma and anxiety can skew the way we view ourselves and the world around us. I work collaboratively with clients on finding self-compassion and developing a clearer understanding of healthy relationship dynamics. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy which can be helpful for treating trauma. Sometimes we benefit from talking with someone who doesn’t know us, to allow space for an outside perspective. When navigating through sessions, I hope to show clients that all emotions hold value and that they are deserving of safety, empathy, and understanding. If you feel I may be of assistance on your healing journey, please feel free to contact me.
