I provide counseling to adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, stress and anger management, family conflict, marital conflict, intimacy issues, and infidelity. I have worked in a private practice setting for over 7 years, and prior to that I worked in a residential facility for teens struggling with addiction. I employ an empirically based, directive approach, encouraging consistent and recognizable growth and development throughout the therapeutic process. I am trained in the SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) protocol, which is a parent focused treatment model to address anxiety and OCD in children. I regularly incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and the Gottman method in my practice, while still meeting each client where they are at and providing a treatment plan that meets each individual, couple, or family’s unique needs.
