I believe therapy is a relational process where the central focus of the work becomes the therapy relationship we co-create. From the foundation of our relationship we will approach your unique path to healing and improving the quality of your life in ways that are meaningful to you. I believe therapy is most successful when the relationship feels safe, secure, contained, and where boundaries and choices are made continually transparent. As an additional offering, I have advanced training and practice in the use of EMDR. At the right time in your recovery journey we can discuss how this modality might benefit your recovery. I specialize in the treatment of PTSD and the many ways trauma survivors learn to manage their daily lives as a result of their trauma. I have spent my entire career working with adult sexual trauma survivors. In last four years I have worked exclusively in the veteran population, gaining extensive experience with combat deployed service members as well. I believe you, I believe in you, and I believe you can recover. When you are ready to begin your journey of recovery, or even if you just want to explore what that might look like, I am here to walk with you.
