I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for all persons. In psychotherapy, I empower individuals to feel seen and freely express themselves throughout our work together. I hold a New York State limited permit as a mental health counselor and received my Master of Science from Pace University. I align with the person-centered therapy approach, committed to creating a trustworthy therapeutic relationship and extending unconditional positive regard for all clients. I believe in the resilience of people and capacity to create change in their lives. My areas of interest include supporting adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, and relationship issues. I am intent on providing competent practices, with multicultural considerations, to meet the needs of diverse clinical populations. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training, mindfulness techniques, and positive psychology. In my clinical work, I collaborate with clients to identify their personal goals and strengths, deepen insight, and navigate various life experiences. With all clients, I aim to cultivate acceptance and self-compassion. I hold a unique perspective as I was previously a professional dancer. My extensive movement background informs my work with clients and allows me to skillfully consider the mind-body connection in therapy. I incorporate interventions that allow clients to ground in the present moment and deepen awareness in their somatic experience. My hope is for all persons, especially those who have endured trauma, to feel safe in their body and supported in their experience. I am patient, humble, and continuously inspired by the opportunity to sit with others on their journey; I am committed to staying the course.
