Many people struggle in isolation due to the uncertainty related to reaching out for help. My approach to counseling stems from the belief that healing starts with connection, trust and safety. By placing an emphasis on person centered and humanistic approached, I believe it is important for clients to drive their treatment. My approaches are practical in everyday life and unique to each individual. Therapy is not a “quick fix” but rather a process that takes time, patience and grace. While providing comfort, support and a safe space of belonging, I am dedicated to being a continued support so that you are not alone. My most commonly used modalities include Person Centered Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, mindfulness, strength-based approaches, motivational interviewing, behavior modification, crisis intervention, grief work, and interpersonal skills.
