Introduction

I’ve always been drawn to helping others, and my fascination with psychology started early. I believe our environment and experiences shape us, and sometimes life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. That’s why I became a therapist – to create a safe space for individuals to explore their inner world, reflect on their experiences, and embark on a journey of growth and healing. My own journey with an undiagnosed autoimmune disease has deeply instilled in me the importance of empathy, validation, and compassion. I understand the unique challenges faced by those with chronic and invisible illnesses. The road to healing can be complex, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients, offering support and guidance every step of the way. My Approach I believe in a holistic and trauma-informed approach that honors each individual’s unique needs and experiences. My therapeutic style integrates: Person-Centered Therapy: Creating a warm and accepting environment where you feel heard and understood. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Providing practical tools to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Mindfulness-Based Techniques: Cultivating present-moment awareness to reduce stress, manage emotions, and increase self-awareness. My goal is to empower you with evidence-based strategies and foster resilience so you can navigate life’s challenges with confidence and create a life that aligns with your values. Areas of Focus I specialize in working with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including: Anxiety Depression Chronic Illness ADHD Women’s Issues (including postpartum support) Blended Families Life Transitions End-of-Life Issues Grief and Bereavement Ageism Who I Work With I welcome clients of all ages, from children (5+) to teenagers, adults, and elders. I offer individual therapy, as well as couples and family counseling. Three words that describe me best Empathetic: I strive to deeply understand your experiences and perspectives. Open-mindedness: I approach each client with curiosity and without judgment. Calmness: I provide a safe and grounded space for exploration and healing. If you’re ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Contact me today to schedule a consultation.
