Introduction

Chris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He graduated with degrees in Psychology and Social Work and is pursuing a Doctorate from Arizona State University in Behavioral Health. He's been working in the field of mental health treatment for more than 16 years. Chris is the founder of Hobble Creek Behavioral Health and a nonprofit organization, Heal The Hurt, which provides support to individuals and families who don't have the resources needed to access appropriate care. He's been trained in trauma work, including EMDR and Trauma Focused CBT, mindfulness/meditation practices, and Moral Reconation Therapy. Chris' passions in treatment include strengthening safety in vulnerability and authenticity, increasing connection, increasing self-love and empowering confidence. Chris understands how the family system is impacted by trauma, addiction and mental health issues. He’s experienced it from all angles and has a passion for helping others recognize their underlying issues and the people, places and things that led to these problems in the first place. He provides a calm, compassionate space for clients to progress in the healing process. In his spare time, Chris loves to be with his family, spending time in nature, and being involved in both playing and following sports.
