I know that finding the right therapist can feel like an overwhelming process. My goal is to provide you with a safe place to feel seen and heard. I believe that therapy is designed to reflect a sense of honor and respect for someone’s story to achieve not only symptom remission but also a deeper, long-lasting sense of healing. I am passionate about working with individuals to improve their quality of life, increase internal connection, implement adaptive skills, and better their relationships with others, food, body, and movement. I graduated in 2015 with my master's degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. I started my counseling career as a therapist at an acute psych inpatient hospital. After leaving the inpatient world back in 2020, I began working as a therapist at an RTC level of care for an eating disorder treatment center. In 2021, I joined a local group practice and started my journey in private practice. That brings us to 2022. I started my very own private practice right here in St. Louis Missouri. I take an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I pull from different therapeutic modalities I am competent in to give you the best care possible. My approach to therapy tends to have a heavy focus on attachment-based and client-centered modalities. I have received specialty training in EMDR, Embodied Recovery, basic IFS, Challenging Diet Culture & Anti-Fat Bias, and Motivational Interviewing. I strive to make all sessions comfortable and individualized. I deeply value leading each client towards a life they want to live. Together we can develop all of the tools necessary to allow yourself to get out of rigid cycles and emotional states that keep you stuck in negative patterns.
