Introduction

Cheryl is a recent graduate, Magna Cum Laude, of Northcentral University. She earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She believes life is a journey not a destination. With an unwavering passion for working with individuals, couples, and families in a safe, compassionate, and mutually respectful environment, Cheryl works collaboratively with clients when navigating life’s struggles. She is grateful for having had the opportunity to work with first responders for the past 15 years. She understands the need for healing. Coming full circle in her career, Cheryl believes relationship therapy is her true calling. With specialized training in systemic family addictions and disorders, she focuses on treating the fundamental problem(s) and not just symptoms. Cheryl has a direct, empathetic, and supportive nature with special interests in couples’ infertility, parenting on the spectrum, blended families, divorce, eating disorders, mid-life struggles, addiction, chronic illness and pain, relationship difficulties, adjustment disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She considers her 27-year-old daughter, diagnosed with high functioning Autism twenty years ago, one of her greatest blessings.
