My name is Cheryl and I am a licensed clinical professional therapist who is dedicated to helping adults navigate life's stressors and rediscover happiness. I provide mental health therapy to adults in Maryland. With a focus on targeting and changing behaviors and mindsets that impact mental health and wellbeing, I firmly believe that everyone can receive help if they are ready to do so. I have a particular passion for working with women and a variety of women's issues. I understand that navigating life as a woman can be challenging and I am committed to providing a safe space where women can explore their thoughts and emotions, address their concerns, and develop skills to live a fulfilling life. In addition to working with women’s issues, I am a trauma-informed therapist who has experience and success in treating a wide range of mental health concerns including: depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, and adjustment disorders. I also help clients navigate through life’s challenging circumstances such as emotional and narcissistic abuse, parenting concerns, adapting to college, work-place stress, job burnout, balancing responsibilities, self-esteem and confidence issues, incorporating self-care, and setting and maintaining boundaries. Recognizing that everyone is unique and is not the same, I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods and techniques to address client’s needs and to help client’s to move forward in life. I celebrate with my clients as they overcome life's challenges and begin to truly grow in their purpose.
