Cherri Mettler is experienced in treating children, ages 3 to 12, dealing with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, life changes, school adjustments, trauma, and other behavioral concerns. Cherri Mettler provides child counseling, play therapy, and parent training. Cherri Mettler's treatment approach is informed by evidenced-based practices. She has advanced training in Play Therapy, TraumaPlay Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Cherri Mettler's goal as a counselor is to create a safe, accepting environment where your child can feel understood and unconditionally accepted. Cherri Mettler works collaboratively with parents to teach creative and effective parenting strategies to improve family relationships.
