Therapy is like throwing a pebble in the pond. When it is done right, the healing and growth people experience spread to those they love and to their communities. It is my goal to work myself out of a job someday by helping people heal, cope, grow, and learn in ways that allow them to like who they are and have fulfilling relationships as they live their best lives. I specialize in helping clients recognize patterns in their current relationships and behaviors while exploring how generational, cognitive, trauma, mental health, and emotional factors have created and continue to drive those patterns. I have a plethora of skills (such as DBT, EMDR, IFS, CBT, & Gottman Methods) we can incorporate to address issues and change patterns long-term. I believe all people have worth, deserve to be treated with respect, and can love and be loved in a healthy way. Providing a safe and growth-focused space is just as important for successful therapy as the therapeutic approaches and tools used in treatment. Having the people I work with know I care, do not judge, and believe in the possibility of change are some of the factors that make our sessions so impactful.
