Sometimes life’s demands, stresses and challenges feel like just too much to work-through, cope with, and manage alone. I work with clients who feel depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or maybe they’re not even sure what they’re feeling but they know something’s deeply wrong or missing in their lives. Others are experiencing a transition or feel confused about their relationships, career, or future. I help individual adults and teens (16+) examine what’s not working (and what is), identify unhealthy thinking and behavioral patterns, recognize the deeper issues behind them…and then determine and implement more effective skills and ways of being that will improve their wellbeing and quality of life. I believe the relationship between the therapist and client is key — and that therapy takes place in an alliance between the two…a collaborative process. I know it can be hard and scary to reach out when you feel overwhelmed and your internal resources are strained - but I am committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the work to take place.
