My clients appreciate that I bring joy, honesty, and relatability to our sessions. I value connection, curiosity, and kindness. I love to work with adolescents (10 & up) and young adults to help empower them as they navigate seasons of change and transition. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space for individuals to be themselves fully without shame so they can find their way in the world. If your child is grappling with self-doubt, comparison to others, or the pressure of perfectionism, I offer tools to help them harness their inner strength, cultivate self-acceptance and confidence, and embrace the changes. My previous experience includes working in a private practice setting with individual clients and leading several weekly groups for kids and teens, focusing on anxiety coping skills and executive functioning skill building. I utilize expressive and creative interventions including games, LEGO, art-based activities, and books to build skills related to emotion regulation, frustration tolerance, flexibility, conflict resolution, assertiveness, mindfulness, and improving confidence. I have specialized training in parent support including the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) treatment modality through the Yale Child Study Center. My professional experience and knowledge inform my practice but my clients are at the heart of each session. I bring their interests into the room so that we can build upon strengths. I feel honored to know and understand my clients. It is my privilege to work with them as they begin to step out of their comfort zone and work toward recovery.
