Understanding the importance of healthy attachment and relationships, with others and with ourselves, Chelsey takes a client-centered approach to therapy believing each person has the capacity within themself to heal and progress. Chelsey views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and is grateful for the privilege to work alongside people on their path to greater health and wellness. Chelsey utilizes a range of therapeutic methods specific to her clients' needs including IFS, EMDR, Mindfulness, ACT, CBT, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, and somatic-based interventions. Chelsey is EMDR trained and has completed the Certified Trauma Professional Level 1 training and IFS Level 1 Training with the IFS Institute. Chelsey earned her Master of Social Work degree from Brigham Young University with certification in Trauma-Informed Clinical Social Work. She enjoys working with people of all ages and specializes in treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, trauma and abuse. She has worked in both non-profit and private settings. She volunteered for the Utah County Rape Crisis Team for over three years and is passionate about supporting survivors of sexual assault and abuse.
