Introduction

I started working in the field of mental health advocacy while working in domestic minor sex trafficking legislation. I have been a rape crisis hotline volunteer and staff person, court advocate, crisis counselor, and a clinical counselor. I am certified in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and a Consultant-in-Training. I'm passionate about educating other therapists, and providing specialized care unique to my client's individual needs. I specialize in the treatment of dissociation and trauma, which can encompass a wide variety of experiences. Dissociation and trauma can be bigger and different from their media portrayals. Exploring your dissociation and trauma may explain the way you deal with things. I'm here to help with that. For professionals: I am here for consultation services on my specialty areas, and I do offer consultation hours for completion of EMDR basic training and certification.
