Introduction

Sometimes you can try your hardest and still find yourself struggling with unhappiness and feeling like people around you don't understand. You've done everything you can on your own, and now you are looking for more. I will strive to give you a compassionate space where you can feel safe being vulnerable. Together we will look at the challenges facing you and we will explore the path through them. We will identify your strengths and how to use them so that you can heal and thrive. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor with ten years of experience. I earned my BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University and my MA in Mental Health Counseling from Rivier University. My approach uses a blend of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused, and Client Centered therapies to treat a range of issues. I am trained in the Flash Technique for the treatment of trauma and I am certified in perinatal mental health treatment through Postpartum Support International. I have worked with a wide range of ages and in many different settings including intensive community based treatment, psychiatric inpatient stabilization units, hospital emergency rooms, and office based counseling. Currently I am offering flexible evening and Saturday telehealth appointments to meet the needs of individuals with busy schedules.
