As a therapist, I believe in the power of connection and attachment for healing. As a social worker, I am curious about the system that surrounds you. I am a graduate of Boston University, with twelve years of clinical experience. My background includes an extensive history of working with individuals, youth, couples and families who have experienced trauma, relational stress, and/or attachment disruptions. This experience has included roles in community mental health, day treatment, residential treatment, and telehealth capacities. I support those struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal stress/conflict, mood disruptions, and general behavioral difficulties. I have worked with children as young as four targeting emotional expression, regulation, and supporting parents with co-parenting. Adolescents coping with peer struggles, school stress, and various mental health needs and stressors. Adults navigating life transitions, childhood and relationship trauma, grief and loss, and couples seeking support with communication and conflict mediation. I am a person-centered, eclectic provider; meaning I utilize numerous therapeutic modalities; including, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT and Narrative processes in therapy. I am comfortable with and believe in the use of play and creative modalities for children. A professor and mentor once said to me: "...You are a holder of light... The client chooses the path they walk, however, you have the great opportunity to hold a lantern and help light their way..." I look forward to connecting and walking this path with you.
