As an all-wise and all-knowing 12-year-old, I found myself "counseling" my friends who were having boyfriend problems (cue the middle-school eye rolls), which started my journey and nourished my fascination with all-things relationships - what makes them work? What makes them not work? After years of schooling, a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, and additional specialized training in the most common approaches to couples therapy (Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy), and a sustained passion for healing relationships and helping couples communicate and connect better, I guess you could say my 12-year-old self would be very proud of where I am today. It's always an honor to witness couples who start therapy with hurt feelings and frustations with one another come to a place of mature love, connection and a sense of a rebuilt relationship at the end of therapy. If you're looking to work on communication, connection, and/or trust, know that I am here to help. Please reach out so you don't have to continue feeling alone or unwanted in your relationship!
