Introduction

When choosing a therapist it is important to consider many different perspectives. First and most importantly, is this someone that you will be comfortable working with? Education and experience are also factors in the decision. However, when it comes right down to it, it’s about connecting. All the great tools that a therapist may have will do no good if you do not connect with them. I have heard from many of my clients about negative experiences in the past with therapists and how they feel like nothing really happened. I believe my clients experience this differently. If I cannot assist and we don’t connect, I will use my network to ensure you connect with the right therapist. For me, it is about the success of the client, not adding a client. I have been trained in IMAGO relationship theory and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and enjoy working with couples. I also enjoy working with men who are not sure about this whole counseling thing. I am also certified in Anger Management.
