I am passionate in helping you move through your journey towards self discovery, understanding, self- acceptance, healing, and growth. Psychotherapy is an extremely effective and transformative process that can help in working through what’s happened to us, understand what it did, and identify options to help towards change and to leading more satisfying and fulfilling lives. I will provide a safe, nonjudgmental, accepting, supportive —and sometimes challenging — space where you can achieve genuine self-reflection. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2005 and in private practice since 2018. I began my career working in community mental health as a psychotherapist and intake coordinator at an outpatient behavioral health clinic in Brooklyn, New York, where I worked for nine years. The trajectory of my career continued through practicing as a clinician and operating in both administrative and supervisory roles within ambulatory mental heath settings and mental healthcare initiatives in NYC. A professional goal has also been to establish a private practice and join as a pioneer in broadening access to mental healthcare to all communities. In 2018 I decided to start my private practice; and in 2019 pursued practice full-time. I received my B.S. in Health Services Administration in 2002 and my B.S. in Social Work in 2004 from Herbert Lehman College. I received my M.A. in Social Work in 2005 from New York University.
