My name is Cesar Seveso. I am a psychotherapist and a certified professional life coach. I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston, with a specialization in health and behavioral health. As a GLOBE Fellow, I focused my early efforts into delivering much-needed services to populations that did not have adequate access to medical and mental health care. After earning my social work license, I then completed 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience before becoming a licensed clinical social worker. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I help individuals with complex emotional needs weather the rough spots that invariably occur in life. Throughout my career, I have worked with homeless individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, oncology patients facing end-of-life issues, and young adults living with major depression, social anxiety, substance use, disordered eating, and sexual and relational trauma. I have also worked with high-net-worth individuals and successful professionals struggling with low self-esteem, emotion dysregulation, and interpersonal problems.
