Introduction

Hello, my name is Celia Gardner. I'm a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Wisconsin. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling, having graduated from Webster University in 2004. I've been in the counseling field for 19 years, working in a variety of settings with different age groups. I successfully completed the Approved Clinical Supervisor program at University of North Carolina, Greensboro School of Education and have provided supervision for therapists in training over 9 years. A specific area of interest for me is working with couples who are focused on improving their relationship through enhanced communication and regained level of trust. I also have extensive experience working with women navigating life's many challenges, as well as men and women who have experienced intimate partner violence. I have training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Informed Care and Adoption Competency. Additional areas of expertise include anger management and treatment for men (and women) who use violence in interpersonal relationships. I recognize one of the most difficult things for someone going through depression, anxiety or history of trauma is to make that first step for help. Once that first step is taken, the next steps come a little bit easier. I believe 80% of an individual's success in therapy is based on their relationship with the counselor. In my experience, I have been able to gain clients' trust and comfort level to enable a positive relationship and the ability to delve into their life's challenges. At All In Counseling, I will listen without judgment. Meeting you where you're at in your personal journey, I will accompany you while achieving your mental wellness goals. I will provide support and share insight as we navigate through life's challenges together.
