In addition to being a therapist, I am a mom, sister, partner, friend and artist. I am passionate about working with adults who have ADHD. I especially enjoy working with adults who were never diagnosed in childhood, and have been struggling for decades to understand why their goals and dreams are often just out of reach. My treatment style is empathetic, warm, practical and clear. Kindness, curiosity, problem solving, warmth and humor are how I approach my own ADHD, and how I work with people who have ADHD. My approach draws from my training in: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, mindfulness and executive function skills training. In addition to working with adults who have ADHD, other areas of specialization include treatment of anxiety, grief, loss, imposter syndrome and performance anxiety. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout the Bay Area including the corporate world, non-profit agencies and schools (elementary, middle & high school). Connection heals. ADHD is highly treatable once you have support, strategies and lifestyle changes in place. If you have ever wondered if you have ADHD, or if you already have a diagnosis and you think I might be a good fit for your ADHD treatment, please feel free to reach out. Taking the first step in getting treatment is often the hardest step, and if you feel nervous about therapy, please know you are not alone. Many people feel nervous about taking the first step towards therapy. I am dedicated to helping my clients gain a strong understanding of how they can feel better, so they will have tools for a lifetime.
