I’m a New York native. I started my career working with children at a Psychiatric Residential Treatment facility for children in 2006 in Columbia S.C. with a bachelor’s degree in social work. In 2010 I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of South Carolina. I achieved full independent clinical licensure in 2013 at a North Carolina Psychiatric Hospital. I was privileged to work with U.S. Marines for a 9-month period and experienced running my own practice for 2.5 yrs. I’ve enjoyed contracting, working with individuals and families, for the last 16 years. Providing field instruction for MSW students has been rewarding a well. My philosophy is that of the Austrian psychiatrist Viktor E. Frankl who stated, “the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour.” This is my basis for using Person Centered approach. I focus is on the person and what they can do, not their condition. I'm licensed in New Jersey and New York and I look forward to meeting and working with you.
