Introduction

Hi I am Cathy, and I am the founder of Emotional Wellness and Counseling. I am a mom of two, experienced therapist, a lifelong learner. Being a mom and a therapist means I get it—balancing family, work, and personal time isn’t easy. I’m here to support you in managing the pressures of motherhood and fatherhood while also prioritizing your mental health. What I can help with: Finding Mental Calm and Control in a World of Overwhelm At its core, anxiety is a natural response to stress, a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an upcoming event or something with an uncertain outcome. It's part of the body’s “fight or flight” response—preparing us to deal with potential threats. However, anxiety becomes a problem when it becomes excessive, constant, or disproportionate to the actual threat or situation. Supporting You Through the Unique Challenges of ADHD ADHD can affect many areas of life—work, relationships, and daily tasks. I can assist you with impulse control and managing frustrations that lead to you feeling overwhelmed. I offer compassionate, personalized support to help you manage the symptoms of ADHD and thrive. Navigating the Darkness of Depression Toward Hope Depression can feel like a heavy weight, making even the smallest tasks feel impossible. Together, we’ll create a path to healing, helping you find hope, purpose, and a way to navigate the tough times. Let’s Start Your Journey to Healing – Book a Free Consultation
