Introduction

Hi, I’m Kate Nemchausky and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH), and trained in EMDR therapy. After experiencing Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and birth trauma myself, I focused on advocating for better care of women during this life-changing experience. My care encompasses all Maternal Mental Health from pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, infertility, and beyond. I believe that everyone has the ability to make their lives better, and will live their best life with hands on work and an open mind. I will work with you at your comfort level, but will also challenge you as appropriate. I want you to know how strong you are, and that change is possible. In addition to PMH/MMH and trauma, I also offer holistic support with anxiety, depression, self-compassion, identity, life transitions, communication, and stress management/burnout. I know that when people understand they deserve to live a fulfilling life, and most importantly, that they are not ‘broken’, the opportunities are endless.
