Hey y'all. I'm a very relational, dynamic therapist who loves working with people who struggle with self-esteem, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. Often, the people I work with are really strong and may minimize their experiences. They say things like, "I'm probably just being sensitive" or "They had it much worse." I help them to listen into themselves, see themselves rightly, and offer themselves self-compassion. I incorporate tangible skills of DBT so they feel more understanding of their emotions and how to be more assertive. I also love to utilize EMDR, a type of trauma processing therapy, that helps take the "activation" out of painful things from the past so that they can be less triggering.
