I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the field of education as well as a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology. I joined PathPoint in 2016 with nearly a decade of experience working in education with children from preschoolers through adolescents. During my time working for CALM (Child Abuse Listening Mediation), I provided individual and group therapy to children and families who had experienced emotional, physical, or sexual trauma and helped them overcome their emotional challenges and find their strength. Additionally, I have worked in group homes with adolescents who were in the foster care system, where I gained experience dealing with crisis situations and helping youth meet their goals and build a brighter future for themselves. As a Psychotherapist and Lead Case Manager, I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, among others. I have an eclectic approach and have experience using modalities such as Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Art Therapy, and Play Therapy. Being an immigrant myself and having worked extensively with different minority groups, I am aware of the impact culture and diversity of any form can have on a person’s life. I speak fluent Greek. It is my strong belief that clients are experts of their own lives and therapy is a collaboration between the clinician and the client. I want to see the world through my clients’ perspectives and help them find hope, strength, faith and meaning in their life.
