Introduction

Catherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who incorporates her love for nature, spirituality, and community-building into her practice. She is a Tennessee native who moved to Chattanooga to attend The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Spanish in 2008. At the beginning of her career as a social worker, she focused on serving Chattanooga’s immigrant and Spanish-speaking communities. In 2020, Catherine earned her Master’s of Social Work from Portland State University. She continued her work in community mental health settings and earned her clinical licensure in 2023. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Catherine specializes in grief and loss, behavioral issues, and life transitions. Catherine believes that incorporating play, community, and the great outdoors leads to profound breakthroughs in healing for all of her clients. In her free time, Catherine loves backpacking, adventuring with her dog, and dancing under the full moon.
