Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming. Maybe you're hesitant about being judged, worried you won’t find the right fit, or just don’t want to sit through endless “and how does that make you feel?” questions. I strive to make therapy approachable, empowering, and specific to you—even if you're still figuring out what you truly need. My goal is to help you reduce anxiety, process trauma, build confidence, and create healthier relationships. Whether you’re navigating personal trauma, religious or spiritual challenges, weight loss struggles, relationship strain, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work together at your pace, focusing only on what feels right for you. I also provide pre-surgical mental health assessments for clients seeking bariatric surgery, to provide support through important health and lifestyle decisions. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I create a safe space where you can show up as your authentic self. I’m trained in EMDR, CPT, and TF-CBT, blending structured and flexible approaches to meet your needs. My clients appreciate my down-to-earth, conversational style, and I encourage open, honest dialogue. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy for residents of Ohio and Michigan. If calling feels intimidating, you’re welcome to email or text to schedule your first appointment. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff, awkward, or one-size-fits-all. Let’s work together to create meaningful change—at a pace that feels right for you.
