You may not consider or believe that your life experiences include trauma. You might think, “Doesn’t everyone feel like this? This is just life, right?!” The answer is no! You don’t have to carry this yuck around with you anymore. You can have less inner conflict, better decision making, and enhanced self-control. Change is possible with EMDR therapy. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is to face your unhealed trauma. Imagine what it would feel like to carry less weight from your past and have a deeper understanding of yourself and your purpose. Imagine a life where you have lessened anxiety or depression symptoms. Imagine no longer having intrusive thoughts or that pit in your stomach... I work with my clients, primarily using EMDR and cognitive therapy, to do the repair work at the deepest levels to make a long, lasting change. My clients often tell me that they feel free of their emotional pain and therefore, feel the deepest sense of connection inside their brains and bodies.
